My personal football story
Youth football
I started playing football when I was about 8 years old at a small club in a little town somewhere in the Netherlands. During the years I didn’t always played in the highest team within my age category untill I was 13. Each new season I progressed to a new team and eventually when I was 16 to a new club who asked me to join their club. As these seasons progressed I played at a national level in Holland where I would also compete against pro teams each season. During these times I tried to get a pro trial in Holland but unfortunatly it didn’t work out for me.
Trying abroad
After I finished high school in the summer of 2021, I decided to make a video compilation of all my highlights and send this to clubs and agents. With my video’s I came in contact with various people in the professional football world and this resulted in 4 professional trial upportunities in between the summer of 2021 and the summer of 2022. With 2 of these upportunities I was actually offered a professional contract, but because I couldn’t make it financially it didn’t work out.
Sininging a professional contract
In the winter of 2022/2023 I was called by an agent from Serbia. He had a team for me in Bosnia and before I knew it I was flying there to go for my fifth professional try-out. Luckily after one week of training I officialy signed my first pro contract and I started my journey as an official professional football player.
Why did I start making this website?
Since I started to posts more about my life as a professional football player on my LinkedIn and my Instagram. I got so many messages by other football players about how I handled certain situations and if I could advice them about this. When I adviced these other football players I started to realise that I liked spreading information and knowledge to other players and so I came up with this website where I can spread my knowledge and help even more football players.
